font size on collection letters

This probably isn't a question you get often, but does the "30 day receipt of notice, dispute the validity of debt..." does the font size required by law have to be the same font size as the body of the collection letter?

Yes, maintaining a consistent font size is best and safest method to follow. Italicized, bolded, or increased font sizes could sway the interpretation of your message in a way completely different from what you originally intended. Maintaining consistency is the best rule of thumb.
