My Response from CashNetUSA

I sent them a cease and desist letter through email yesturday with MY payment arrangements offered and how I want to pay the $400 PDL off before the one for $900 I have with them.

Here's what they had to say about that:

Dear litlee, (my name removed by myself)

Payment Plan Confirmation

Customer ID#: xxxxxxxx (my account # also removed by myself)

This email is to confirm that you have agreed to payment arrangements
for your past due advance with us. Per your arrangement,
your next payment date is July 27, 2007

Please make sure that your payment is made in a timely fashion. If
you fail to adhere to the terms of your payment arrangement, we will deem
the arrangement void and pursue further collections procedures.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding your account.

So I guess they accepted MY payment arrangements after all?!?!?!

litlee, sounds like it to me! Good for you! Now maybe you will have payments you can actually live with! Great going!

litlee, look what the first one did! You got great results! You stated what you are willing/able to do and took responsibility for your debt & they accepted it! I mean, usually it starts out bad! LOL! So the others may also be good! I'm just so happy to hear that a pdl actually cooperated with someone! And I really think your letter is wonderful. It would be a good example for others to use. Your information will definately help someone else out!

That is awesome! Some people have said that they were hard to get to agree to payment arrangements, so consider yourself lucky!

I really hope this means that Cash Net USA has changed it's policy and will be so accepting of payment arrangements with all it's customers in the future . . . . .

Just be sure not to defualt on the payment arrangements. That would be bad . . . .

Cash Net USA is the only one that is working with me as well. Well, at least they are the only company that has responded back. We "battled back and forth" a couple of times for a payment plan that we both could agree on - but it worked out in the end. Now, I am told them "processing" the payment at this PDL is another whole story.

If you have paid the amount you owed them plus an amt. over that which is within the usury limit for the State of Florida, are you obligated to pay them any more? I have done that and they still want double the amount originally borrowed. Say they are going to take legal action.
