How to consolidate payday loans and get out of debt


Can I consolidate payday loans without turning them over to a collection agency? I don't have any defaults, but I'm not making any progress, just paying about $600 a month in interest.

I am working with a place called payday loan assistance. You can call them at 1 800 957 8319. So far the phone calls from payday loan places have stopped.

There are a lot of pro's and cons working with a debt assistance program, I would advise anyone who opts to hire a debt company to do their research first, find out if your payday lenders are legal BEFORE you commit; as illegal lenders usually won't negotiate with ANYone, let alone a bona fide debt assistance company.

I have 5 payday loans, that I can't handle anymore. They are sucking my whole paycheck, I don't know what to do. I found this site & it has given me great hope.
Before I start fighting how can I be sure I am within my rights & that there is no Federal law that would supercede the laws of the state I live in (Alabama).
