cannot pay loan now what

I cannot pay my loan this week I just don't have the money. I have a loan with First Cash in Texas, it is a storefront. The loan was for $520. So far I have paid about $528. But all that is just fees, the principal is still the same. I am going to have to go into default. I am worried. They are not the nicest people in that store, they are even rude when you go in to pay your loan. What will happen? What can I do? I know that they will try to send my check thru on Monday, will they keep doing that over and over? I just feel so miserable because I have paid so much but still owe the original amount.

Did someone post your Texas law regarding pdl's? That way you can see if a re-payment plan is an option. I don't know a thing about Texas, but there are forum members on here in Texas that could tell you. In my state (which really doesn't matter!) the storefront can send the check through ONCE and if there are NSF, you then can work out a payment plan with them. If they're nasty, maybe you can TRY calling (instead of walking in there) the manager and tell him you can't pay it off - medical reasons, blah, blah, make something up - and see if he'll go ahead and make a payment plan with you. Doesn't hurt to ask. If they say no, and that they're going to send your check through, I don't know..... I hate to see them send it through and you get bank fees. ANYONE FROM TEXAS - CAN YOU HELP ON THIS ONE????
