Anyone know or hear of a Sara Rubin? Is she a Capital One representative or a collector? i received a proof of debt from her had it no account number on it,just had a balanced, then interest amount and attorney fees.
shouldn't there be more on a proof of debt form that she took oath to be true and have notarized?

James can you give a little more information? Just from the little i've read from you this sounds like a CA. They love sending out affidavits with such knowledge as u stated but do these people truly exist? WHO KNOWS!!
You need to send a debt validation letter and get more details on this account cuz this is NOT enough.
hope this helps a little,
Ang

Thank You Ang ,the only other information i have is that it was notorized in Suffolk County New York but,The stamp of notary public is blurred and a scanned copy.I checked and this notary public with New York State Licensing and it is a I think a mobile
notary public and while on that site i put in Sara Rubin and to my surprise she is a notary in Nassau County New York. But today i received a letter from a attorney in Chattanooga Tn about this Capitol one deal called "Grisham,Knight & Hooper",i called the number and when the party answered and i told why i was calling instead of a attorney answering a woman did and acted like a collection agent.I located their website and this woman was listed in collections dept.
Thank you for you help and for the validation letter what am i to expect from them when they reply to it?

More than likely they will only send some generic letter on their letterhead with amount owed and original creditor on it. This is NOT a validation. You will probably have to send yet another validation letter along with a copy of what they send u stating EXACTLY what u want from them.
And how coincidental she's a notary huh? But legally u can NOT notarize ur own affidavit right?!?! I wouldn't think so!!
Good Luck and please feel free to ask if you need any more information.
Ang
