Congrats, Sass! This will pave the way for others to be marked paid in full by this and other payday lenders in your state.
Does anyone else notice that there's an increase in posts we're seeing from people getting their loans marked paid in full? I'm REALLY hoping this is the start of a fantastic new trend! The state officials are finally starting to sit up and take notice - evidence of the power we have in our numbers! When enough people complain, they WILL take action!

Congratulations Sassnlucy! :D I'm glad to see you got a PIF from that company, because I know how difficult it is to get one from them. :D :D

Thanks so much everyone! I really could not believe it when I got the email from the AG!!! I did not think that Payday Avenue would EVER respond to them!!!! This company caused me so much stress, almost as much if not more than DMS Marketing. I am really impressed with the Ohio AG's office for taking care of it because this company was IMPOSSIBLE for me to reason with!! I hope that this is a good sign for others who have done business with this company and their many dbas. :D

I'm impressed also, this ipdl is one of the nasty ones. But most of them are, some tougher than others though. I also think that we will be impressed with the new AG here in OH, I think this is a great change! :D

Payday Avenue usually didn't bother me too much after they found out that I revoked the wage assignment. It was the collection agency they sent my defaulted ipdl to that got on my last nerve :x Universal Fidelity would call 2 and 3 times a day plus send me letters
Thanks so much, everyone. Brownsugar, they didn't bother me all
Thanks so much, everyone. Brownsugar, they didn't bother me all that much, they called one of my references a few times and my house a couple of times and pretty much left it at that, I guess it didn't get to the collections part because I never heard from Universal Fidelity.

Ohio is starting to take a stand against these internet payday companies. I just can not wait for the legislators to vote the new law into effect, the govenor is pushing them to pass it and will sign. :D
