Northway Financial: Do customers complain against this company?

Northway Financial payday loans company are the worst. They tried to assign my wages. When I did not return a call from them right away they called Refs. Then they sent a letter to settle for 40 percent. I paid them and they are gone. I heard they got kicked out of Malta.

Zip16.com scammed me, they are northway financial corporation ltd., also startercreditdirect, i got a payday loan, and today they presented a check under startcredit and wiped me out. they said it wasnt them, but my bank found out it is them. i contacted the attorney general, please be careful!

my wife has run into the same situation she has 3 diff companies takin money out of her account

I did not understand this at all? Can this e-mail address help us or not help us? Is this a 419?

I got a payday loan for 300.00 and paid it back the following week, but now I have two 179.oo withdrawls from my checking account! I don't know who or how to try to fix this, but I'm not gonna let them drain my checking account!

Starter credit also presented a check to my account--which i did not approve or write. Information from my payday advance application was used to generate a paper check. I have to close my account and i have been charged a multitude of fees. It is horrible.

I am trying to get out from under payday loans too. But Northway just double charged me. I am trying to contact them to find out what is going on, but cannot find a phone number.

This morning, looked in my account; it was in the overdraft, Zip19.com debited my account twice and now I have to close accounts. THis is horrible! I do not even have an account with this them.

Northway Financial is also cashtransfercenters.com and sonicpayday.com. 866-867-6642 is a good phone number for them. I just talked to them and they told me their physical address is in Malta but they did not accept physical mail. She said all correspondence is done via fax(866-809-4069) or email(customercare@cashtransfercenters.com). I hope this information helps someone.

I don't have a clue as to who Northway Financial is they took two payments from my checking account and I for one will stop them.....I am going to report them and see how to sue them as well. I have never used a payday loan in my life!!!!!!

I had 2 ach debits in my bank account on 1/13/10 and I did not know who Northway Finacial was. My bank researched the ACH and tried to find a number as welll as I did and could not find any affiliate with Northway. But as I continued to dig deep I found out that Northway is the Broker company for many lenders including ZIP19.com. We canceled one of the payments because I do have some payday loans out and from ZIP19.com I was expecting a total not divided by 2 amounts when I contacted them in an honest effort to pay my debt and find out if this was the same company I am ending up paying a debit of non payment to them as well as my bank for rejecting the debit.
I personnally think our federal government should put payday loan companies out of business. they not only charged HUGE percents of finance charge but none of their contracts are really clear to the common person. When people try to do the right thing they are hit with major fees. What has happened to our banking system that has let payday loan companies take over. After this I am going to do whatever I can to seek a judgement against such companies and their affiliates. I am going to contact senators and TV stations and others to put the word out. THIS IS CRIME
MY ADVICE IS TO BEWARE OF COMPANIES LIKE NORTHWAY FINANCIAL, ZIP19.COM AND MANY OTHERS.

I have a loan with them. I am closing my bank acct, but I know they will try to do some things to collect. Since I am now in a bind and can't pay them back this payday. What can I do? I am going to email them to try to make arrangements but scared to death of what they will attempt to do

Northway Financial works as zip19.com. The most unethical organization that I know. Customer Service is poor and you get the runaround.

We also had the problems everyone has had my husband called and put any future payments they try to take they took more than what they were supposed and We feel they do not need any more
