Finally someone in WI is looking

Don't know if I posted this in the right section but,

On the news tonight there was a story on payday loans. There is a study group made up of about 40 people (regular people, business people and state people) they are looking into the payday loan laws. They are also looking into the business that run payday loan storefronts. They think that these PDL places are taking advantage of low income people (hmmmmm really???)

I placed a call to the person that is heading up this group because I want to be a part of it. He is supposed to be calling me tomorrow afternoon. I told him that I was e-mailing the state and working with the DFI on trying to get some changes. Maybe there is hope. I also told him that not only storefronts are a problem but the internet one are the worst. You can all bet that when I do talk to this person I will be directing him to this website and for him to look around and see what pdl's are doing to people.

So keep your fingers crossed that he calls me, if he doesn't you can bet I will be back on that phone calling him. WI needs changes!!!!!

ok...done now lol. I just got so excited that finally someone is figuring out there IS a problem.
