Hi, I have gotten numerous ugly emails from a Jamie Bailey with Westbury Ventures telling me that a Check Recovery System is trying to match my name/ssn with a valid checking account, and then they are going to attempt to debit my account for the full amount of my payday loan.
Can they actually do this, or is this a scare tactic? I have already had a company like this put one account 600.00 in the negative; i do not want this to happen to my current account. Any advice, please!!!

Sadly, they can and will do this. It is called skip tracing. I would contact your new bank and try to arrange a stop on any ACH. Otherwise, it will turn in to a big ole mess! Do you have any other ACH's going through on that account?
