HELP! I Have been Ripped of by Primetime Lending

They almost got me to,but thanks to this board they didnt get my money.Im very sorry they got you.Since their address is fake and there phone numbers cant be traced it will be hard to get your money back,but please let us know if get any resolution.

Primetime Lending tried to get me but because I work for a major auto finance company I didn't fall for there tricks. I dealt with a lady there by the name of Emily Stewart and she told me that I needed to send $1182.04 by moneygram and to get a red form and I said no it's a blue business form because I tell my customers this on an everyday basis and I know that I'm right. She said no you need to send this to a person that works for Brinks Security in Ontario and he transports the money for us. Well I guess she thought that I didn't know much because I did some major researching and found out that they are not a real company. Then today I went to lunch with my co-workers and there was some man on tv making a complaint against this company. I'm just glad that I work in the finance business and was able to contact some major people that I know and do a lot of researching to find out the real deal. I'm still leading Primetime on like I'm going to send the money but I'm not and I've already filed several complaints to not only help myself out but others that have been ripped off by this company.

MARQUENTAC - There were many other consumers like you who just have been falling in the wrong hands of Primetime Lending. But, you just saved yourself as you have sufficient knowledge in the finance business.

Moreover, there were a lot of negative feedbacks from other consumers on this board. I am sure your opinion will be helpful to many more consumers who are just about to make business deals with them.

Keep posting in the forums. These valuable suggestions offered will be of great help to many people who are trying to fight with their debt related problems. Some helpful posts will actually save them from making wrong moves. Thanks to this forum and the community members.

To those who lost their money to Primetime Lending I am so sorry. I was almost in your group until I found this forum. I talked to someone named Michael Johnson (I don't even think that was his real name because he had a foreign accent!) I had even called my best friend so she could sign up and she got approved also. If it wasn't for her husband saying this sounded to good to be true we would have never researched the company and we would have both been out of $1500 each. She was supposed to send her money on Saturday and I was supposed to send my money today but because of this forum and because I checked with the FTC and the BBB we didn't do it. I will be making complaints to everyone who will listen, this Company will be closed down and brought up on charges when I am done with them! I am furious that they take advantage of those of us who really are in financial trouble. They make our situations worse. Complain everywhere you can! To the FTC, BBB, Attorney General and your local news. Together we can stop them!

Primetime Lending is not having a good business record in the market. FTC, BBB, Attorney General keep on receiving regular complaints about them from the consumers.

I wish everyone reads this helpful forum before dealing with Primetime Lending.

hello.I am new here. Primetime almost got me too. I spoke with a wayne warner. He thinks I am sending him 1170 for three payments up front for a 20,000 dollar loan. I new it was too good to be true. I checked with the bbb and they are not a member and have received numerous unsatisfactory reports. I hope we can put a stop to this tragic situation. You know I don't understand; they seem more interested in receiving my personal info like ss number, id paystubs ect; more than the money. I wander if there isn't more to this? janie

Welcome to the forums. Please do not give your personal ssn # or any other personal information to anyone who does not have the right to obtain it.

If you ever have a doubt regarding any account, you can pull your credit report from the three bureaus and see your latest financial standing.

Whenever there is any collection call, you have the right to ask for a debt validation which will portray the complete details of your accounts. You have your consumer rights protected under the fdcpa and can take legal actions against any agency who are involved in unfair activities.

I too sent them $985 to an Ian Miller of Ontario. My $5000 loan was never deposited into my account. I called Emily on it. She told that they had run another credit report on me, and my credit was bad, so in order to get the loan, I had to send them another $610. I didn;t do it. I told them I didn't have any more money to send them and that I wanted my orginal $985 back. They told I would receive a refund in 4-5 business days- will see. I feel so ashamed I spent 2 months of mortage and a car pymt. I am now further in trouble.!

You should take legal action against them. Consider taking help of your attorney. Primetime lending are scammers and are retrieving money on illegal grounds.

Needless to say after reading all your posts...PrimeTime Lending is not getting one penny of my money. Once again Thank you all!

It must have been fate, because I had applied with Primetime Lending before I left for vacation and I was just about to complete the process today when I stumbled on this site and read all the problems people have had with them. We must first find out where we can find the people and or the operations of Primetime Lending. Then, we may sue them for the amount in which we gave them and the filing fee for the suit. Good Luck.

My husband applied for a loan with this companya as well and the same thing happened but then they asked for an addition amount and now we are 1500.00 in the hole and looking for a lawyer to retreive our money

These companies are like black holes, once the money is sent to them, it's difficult to get back. Let's hope for the best. Keep us informing about whatever experiences you gain.

Be careful and adopt all precautionary measures that you can. Since you've disclosed your SS # to them, your personal information is not a secret any more.

Keep a close eye on your bank account for unsolicited withdrawals. Also you can contact your bank to protect your account from unauthorized debits.

Please never disclose your personal information to anyone you don't know. It might take you in real trouble.

Welcome to the forums.

Your SSN# is the most important security number that can be used for opening new credit in your name. Since you have disclosed this number to an unknown person, he will try to use it for committing crime.

You can contact the fraud department of the three credit bureaus and put an alert in your credit file as a precautionary measure. Your data will be shared within the three bureaus and any suspicious activity in your credit file can be easily tracked.

Also contact your bank and inform them about this happening. They will scrutinize your accounts regularly.

I am working on a loan w/ Prime Time Lending in Anaheim, CA, wtih the lender being NFS Loans. They haven't asked for money out of me, but I'm just starting the process--my Fed Ex envelope was sealed. I have opened it to check this out again. Does anyone know, is this all one company, or are there different companies called Prime Time, and just the one in MA is ripping people off? Any help is appreciated!

There may be a real company with the same name,but If I were you,I would do lots of research first.If they ask you to send any money then,they are going to scam you.A real loan company will not ask you for money upfront.Give them a call and ask them if this is going to be required.The Primtime lending that is fake is not really in MA.they are in Canada,These fake loan companies always use fake US addresses.These companies have been known to use the name of a real company,they just change the name around alittle.BE CAREFUL and good Luck!

Primetime Lending is reported to be a scam. They might be having other names of operation but the effect is the same on people.

Has the company granted you the loan? If they have asked for any money upfront, please refrain from sending it to them. You will never get the loan in your account and will possibly lose your hard earned money.

I am trying to refinance my mortgage and spoke with a Steve Hernandez tonite from california, with Prime Time Lending. He offered me a great deal, did not mention any up front money, but will email me the specifics. Is this the company you are all talking about?

There are people out there using the names of real loan companies to scam people.There are most likely two primetime lending companies.The fake company will ask you to send money upfront for a loan,via western union.Its really a shame that they are making real legit companies look bad.The website that I had went to for a loan(and thanks to this boards advice,I did not send money)was primetime.net,but the loan papers they sent me,had primetime lending on them.Alot of good people have been scammed by these money upfront for loans scams,so hearing that there may be a company out there with the same name,that is a real loan company is just a little strange,but not impossible.

We got some kind of offer like this in the mail last week. It wasn't as much as this and it wasn't this company, but it was a credit card for X amount of dollars and once you get approved, right off the top they pay themselves so much of it. wow, sounds hard to resist! (me being sarcastic here) NOT!!!!!--it went right in the trash like all the others.

Its kinda like these loan shark joints, they fall and prey on desperate people that are having a hard time, many have even hit rock bottom, and they need money very badly, almost to the point that their eyes are hazed from seeing them for what they really are---a scam. THese people know this and count on it.

I am soooo glad that some of you were saved from this scam! We need to spread the word about this place and others like it so innocent hard working people don't get screwed!!!!!!!

I applied last fall with a company named Allied Mutual. I didn't hear anything for a few weeks and then they started calling me all of the time. When I talked to the lady, she said to send money to Canada via western union. It didn't feel right so luckily I didn't do it. I had seen something on tv previously about something like this. Why would I pay money to get a loan?

I will say this about primetime lending! I filled out an online questionaire stating I would be interested in a refinance. They contacted me as well as a multitude of other lending institutions. They offered a fantastic deal to me in which I accepted. When it all came down to it in the end, they ried to push something far from what I originally agreed to. Hence I was very unhappy with the outcome as I wasted a lot of valuable time and effort on my part, and turned other lenders down because I trusted Primetime would hold to their word. Unfortunately it took a phone call at literally the last minute for me to send the Notary away empty handed. I will not do business with this company again!

Primetime Lending from Anaheim California has scammed multiple people, changed rates, stolen leads, and all sorts of other shady business.

Are the complaints just in Ontario?

The Primetime Lending and NFS Loans company that I have been dealing with is in California. They never asked for money, but I had to pay for an appraisal and then suddenly I can't get in touch with the person that I had been working with.

What types of scams are they doing in Anaheim? I want to protect myself.

You should be able to catch the person who picks up the cash since they have to show ID to prove the money belongs to them.

This information is recorded for reasons such as this topic. I have had my own share of trouble with a fake loan place, playing like they were American General Finances.

I have been told by the D.A and F.B.I that the person who got the money has been identified already from ID and video. This was through both, Western Union for $400.00 and Money Gram $200.00.

Now I have to fax all the info I have on this loan to the district attorney and was told that I would get my cash back and they would be handling the rest themselves.

I will post again to let you know if this happens or not. Getting the money back of course!
