I've been getting called by the same number, and nobody is ever there when I answer. I tried calling it back but I just got the disconnected message as well.

I just had someone call me from that number and ask for my husband, he pronounced the name wrong, which is "moore" I think it may have been from an outsourced company in India.

A guy name Justin something that began with a S called me and said that we met in a park near my house and we were drinking beers and discussing something about 10000 Dollars however none of that ever happened, the guy called me on my cell number which I dont know how he got it and he knew my address and name. And when I tried to call back I never got an anwser, I still have no idea how he got my cell number and address seeing as I have my address blocked, and I hardly ever give out my cell number

The 203 area code is Connecticut but no landline starts with "0". (Think about it - every time you tried to call a local number you'd end up with the operator.)

More likely it's a VOIP termination point. When collectors call from overseas their calls end up in a computer or cell phone here that then transfers the call into the regular phone system. The numbers can get pretty screwy in the Caller ID after that.

This Indian accented woman asked for Robyn, (fr both phone numbers over the last 3 days). I told her I was she several times. I asked what this call was in regards to and she said a credit card with an instant $2k approval. I told her I was having a difficult time hearing her (true) and that I never gave personal info to someone calling me. I asked for a phone number where I could call her back. She gave only a website, creditlinegoldcard^com, (888-383-2282 per their web site). I called a mgr there & told him I am on the Indiana & National DO NOT CALL LIST and my call was as a courtesy. He also said all of their call centers, when called back, ID themselves as CreditGoldCard or whatever. He told me I would put my ph number on the do not call list. I've been getting a number of calls each day for the last 3 days from these people.

I got two calls from this number this morning. The guy on the other end was obviously from India. I said "this is a no-soliciation phone number". He called me an a** hole and asked if I wanted the card. I said no, and he said fine, then jam it!! Nice, huh?

They called my wife, offering a credit card with 0% interest and a $2500 limit. The number was 203-090-0001. They wanted her routing number and bank account information. They kept bugging her for the account numbers. She eventually hung-up on them. These people are phishers or social engineers.
