The Origins of Loans

I've had 7 payday loans and seeing where each has gone (not paid off ---> harassing phone calls --->calls from "collections companies"---> never hearing from them again), I was wondering:

1) Where does the money that these companies loan you, come from? (My guess is from ripping people off)

2) Why does it seem that you can't get into legitimate legal trouble if you don't pay most or all of the loans?

I don't condone not paying the loans back, for honesty reasons. In my mind, I took money from someone and I need to pay it back...it's a matter of when, however. But what's keeping these companies from suing me or having my local court subpeona me?

Contact this company. They are handling my payday loans, and got me a settlement for 50% of what I owed on 2 of them.

Also, call your bank and tell them that you want to put stop payments on the pay day loans. That will keep them from coming out. It will probably cost you money as it would be like putting a stop payment on check, but that should give you some breathing room until you can get in touch with BHR.

The way BHR works is you dont pay anything upfront. They will negotiate with the loan companies, and if they get a settlement that you like, you pay them 35% of what you SAVE. So if you had a $500 pay day loan and they negotiated it down to $250. You owe BHR $87.50. They are great to work with!

The consolidation company keeps on negotiating with the creditors for a perfect settlement offer. It might take some time depending upon the conditions satisfying both ends of the creditors and the consumers. Once the creditors accept it, the consolidation company pays the complete amount to the creditors.

The consumer keeps on paying monthly installments to the consolidation company till the deal comes to an end.

Also, the consolidation programs works better if the bills are sold to the collection agencies. Since, some of the creditors employ their own people in the collection department for the process, it does not work at the best. It needs to be sold to the outside collection agency to avail the consolidation program.
