If phone number does not work for closure of account,send them a letter certified return receipt stating that you are officially closing account& will consider any charges after receipt of this letter to be fraudulent. Keep copy of letter at home along with green card you will get back from them after receipt of letter.

I would definitely send something in writing via certified mail. When you call the customer service line you are speaking to someone out of the country. Most of the time they don't speak English very well and don't know what they're doing. It is very difficult to get them to understand what you want. Sorry if this sounds harsh, its just the truth. I speak from experience. Maybe try calling AND sending something in writing, but definitely send something in writing and get something in writing back from them.
