List to see if lending services are illegal in my state?

Does anyone know where there is a site for a list to see if the PDL's I went through are illegal in Michigan? Thanks in advance. I had a great site given to me in forum from another member but it didn't have that list on there, I was just wondering if there is another site anyone knows about the one I got was paydayloaninfo.org

kim - go to the website for the state of Michigan http://www.michigan.gov , and click on "Attorney General Mike Cox". Once you reach that area of the site, search on "deferred presentment licensee database". That will bring up a page where you can enter the company name, and search the entire state to see if they are licensed.
Payday Loans are called "deferred presentment" in Michigan.
