Well I have been in the same boat as you guys are! I did not know what I was getting myself into till one day I realized what had happened.. I became the queen of those payday loans and now my bank account is suffering. Now the choice is do I file Bankruptcey or shall I get a credit councelor to assist me. Buy you all are correct when you say BMI is a pain in the wazzzzooooo. Okay I just sneezed! So low and behold I find myself applying for bad credit loans. All a nightmare for me now! Being that I am a paralegal I am hoping that I can locate an address on them and If so I will forward it on to anyone who needs it! Best of Luck all.. Goodnight!

They are overseas "somewhere" and do everything over the phone. Their "call center" is in London, but they say they are "not allowed" to give out the company's address. Can you say MAJOR RED FLAG?

I have had loans with them for a LONG time, previously they were under a differnt name, can't remember what it was. The bottom line is that they are crooks who can make your life hell with threatening phone calls and they hide out offshore so they can escape U.S. law. I think they're in India somewhere. Bottom line - once you pay these guys off, don't EVER, and I mean EVER do business with them again. Close the bank account and never give ANYONE your banking information over the phone again. I have learned the hard way - many times. If you don't stay current with them they will harrass you to no end. My advice - pay them the principal as soon as you can, then immediately close your bank account and any other account you may have discloed to them. Once you pay off your loan, they will call you more than once trying to get you to take out a new loan with an increase of $25. The only reason I reccomend paying them off is because I don't think the risk of being fired or permanently have your reputation damaged at work is worth tring to fight them on it. If they weren't overseas and had no address, I wouldn't say that. They are the very top of the list IMO, along with AIP, United Cash Loans, and Paycheck Today of companies to stay far, far away from. Tell them to not call you again and that you're not interested in taking out any more loans with them. Then hang up on them forever. If they call again, HANG UP. Pay them off as soon as you can, and be DONE WITH THEM. They are complete crooks and are EVIL.

First of all can they hire someone that can speak a language that any humanbeing can understand. What I did was call my bank and did a reverse debit transactions and stopped all of there debits from coming out of my account. Although you do owe the money if they can take the money out your bank they should be able to take a tellers check from your bank if they do nnot accept it its their lost.

Where do I begin with this company?!?! I have had nothing but trouble with them from the get go. I got sooo mixed up with these PDL companies, that I now have a total of 6 out and active. I was laid off from my job recently, and was forced to close my bank account today b/c of all the overdraws I had!! My bank was very helpful, in that, she said that UNLESS I give them my account number, they will not get any more money from me!! I called one company today and have set up arrangements, so I should be paid off with them in a month. So, then I called BIG to set up arrangements. They were having none of it! I was immediately put through to a "supervisor" and she was takling to me like she had saved my life and I owed her the world! Wrong. I explained the situation, told her I didn't have a job, told her I was forced to close my bank account and wanted to set up a Western Union arrangement with them and this is what she had the balls to say to me: "Let's assume for a moment that you REALLY do not have an account. We do not accept any other form of payment other than a debit from a checking or savings account. You would need to provide us with another checking or savings account number or an account number of a friend or relative so that we may debit the account for your fee." YEAH RIGHT!!! Like I would ever do that! I told her that I did not have another account and she told me that they absolutely do not accept another from of payment. I told her that if she wanted their money they wold accept something else. She kept talking down to me like she was so much better than me, so I finally hung up on her. I tried to make this right, but I'll be damned if I EVER give out ANY information again! I am so deep in this mess, it looks like I will never get out of it! Any other help/advice anyone has I will be glad to hear!

I received a notice from the bank that I had an overdraft and to take care of it as soon as I can. I went to the bank, found that the company was listed as BIG Limited. I never authorized any money to be taken out and never heard of them. I filed a dispute with the bank, and they will return the money and not charge me the fee. Today I went on the net to do a search on these people, and came across all these terrible things they did. I never had a loan and never heard of them until I got the notice in the mail , but I sure was angry. I can't believe they have not been caught yet. They blocked this company from being able to do it again.

This company is legit, however...you will PAY out the ass. I took out a $200 loan, and was unable to pay it back in two weeks. Instead it was extended several times until I could pay. I borrowed $200...I ended up paying back, all together...at total of $$765...which included the original $200 payoff. Guys...buyer beware....THIS IS NOT SOMETHING I WOULD SUGGEST DOING! If you need money quick and fast, go pawn something. Don't do this....you will pay much more in the longrun. Plus, they are not english speaking. It's hard to understand them. They seem eager to help and always polite, but damn...talk about ripping you a new asshole!

no misty, there is nothing legit about an overseas pdl that does
pdl's over the phone.makes it impossible to payoff when you
want, and if you dare default or miss a payment they will jack
what you supposedly owe to the moon.nothing legit about it.

I agree "BIG" is far from LEGIT :? They hold no license anywhere in the US last I checked. All business is offshore, you can kinda tell by their cs reps. Just do a search uptop in the box on them. Their is numerous threads verifying their legitamacy. Also they will threaten and debit your account until it is in the red.

Has anyone hear of a scam of people calling and saying that there are being charged with felonies. They claim that you took out a loan and that you haven't paid it back. They claim that US National Bank officials are going to come to your workplace and arrest you. Their number is 213-992-3503. They called me this afternoon and freaked me out. I only take a $200 from BIG and they claim that I took a different loan and never paid it. Has anyone else been effected by this scam?

I called to get an address from both BIG and Global Financial...after answering the "why do you want it?" questions, I was given the same address in Reno for both companies (from two different people). 2nd rep told me they were different companies, but in the same building...this after the 1st rep said they were in the UK, but gave Reno address.

I made the BIG mistake of taking a loan from these people in May and I can't get away from them! I ask them to contact me on my cell # but they insist on calling me at my work and are calling constantly. I'm on the verge of losing my job because of the 'personal' phone calls. When I try to explain to them why I can't talk to them when they call they are extremely rude and talk over me or cut me off. They refuse to give me a phone number at which I can call them. They refuse to let me talk to a Supervisor. I don't know what to do! I plan on visiting with a personal banker at my bank this Saturday.

I have paid this company back double what I borrowed from them and they keep harassing me at work, wanting more money from me, they never call my home, and now they are asking to speak to supervisor saying that they are going to get money from my paycheck. Needless to say I know they can't do this without a court order, but they are so demanding and sometimes they call my work 5 times a day. I have filed a complaint 2 months ago with the FTC and with the BBB. --PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE--- I now have to file for bankruptcy (obviously not just because of them)

Get a third job before ever taking money from this company or any other affliates!!!

It is just a shell address in Reno...even if you file a complaint with the BBB there is nothing they can do because the company will not respond...All you need to do is close your back account and do not accep their telephones - just block there number. I agree they are highly illegal and they no it. Just still to your guns and don't have for the stupid threats because their isn't crap they can do to you...besides you overpaid them so you owe them nothig. Good Luck~

I took a loan with them for $200 in Nov. 07 and I have been paying $40 every two weeks. As time went on a forgot all about them but with money being tight I remembered and started looking into it. I called to see how much was still owed and they said the full amount. I told them I had already paid them over $400 and I wasn't paying anymore. As I am sure you can guess they were totally rude and yelled at me. I am going to tell my bank to stop payment on anything from BIG but I am not sure it will work. Do I have to close my account completely? If you have closed your account or refused to pay did they turn you in to the collections? I am not sure what to do here or how we can stop them. I am open to advice. Thanks

They will find some other way to debit you if you do not close your account. Send them a C & D letter, close your account and open another account at a different bank. Make sure in your C & D letter you include all wage assignment revocation. Let them know the only way to communicate with you is by email or USPS. You also need to report them to your AG's office, BBB and your States Department of Financial Institutions. You can also email them all your complaints once filed so they know you have reported them and are not bluffing.

I did stop payment as after a year and a half they are still taking money out of my acct. The number you all have is to Verizaon. The number I got when BIG called me this morning is 1-877-283-6730. Everytime you talk to these people your pay off amount changes. They are telling me there is no contract and they do not have a copy of the payment history. I know I filled something out online but they are saying it is a verbal contract with them. That sounds fishy in itself. They threatened to call my boss and said they know how to get money out of people and that it will now cost me a lot more money. Does anyone know if they are regulated threw the government or some kind of a board that oversees online loans that I can report them too?

This is freaky....I never applied for a loan with them, yet they just called my HR at work and asked for me to call them at 877-282-5450. Sounds kind of like another company that calls and leaves messages along the lines of "if you or your authorized representative does not return this call as soon as you get the message the only thing I can wish you is good luck." Why can't we stop these people?

I got a $250 dollar loan from this company. the man on the phone was some indian fuk that had me make a verbal agreement on the phone. so i agreed, he put me on hold for about 30 seconds assuring me the call was recorded. i assume... he started talking fast and some uncomprehensive accent. so i stoped him and told him to say every thing again very slowly and every single time i did not understand anything. i was very**** and that ticked him off. i got a phone number from him and called it immediatly while i was on the phone with him, just to make sure the number was legit.i got e-mail notace every time i was due for a payment if i wanted to extend my loan. starting at $70 i missed the next payment so i had my $250 loan to pay plus 2 extention fees to pay. well he called and informed me of this, i was kinda mad cause the total from a $250 borrow was $365. on the phone i told him i coulpay him next week when my check comes. he demanded that i pay on the date he had specified. I forcefully said fair enough i will pay what Im due but thats final, close my account never call me again. he agreed by repeating every thing that i had said. well today is december 12th and the money has been debited from my account and no more than he said. i also informed him that if one cent more than $365 was taken from my account then i would go to my bank and the police and file fraud charges. I was very forward and demanding. dont let those assholes fool you. dont agree to anything unless you understand. ask questions. and if your gonna get a loan pay it back ASAP. better yet DONT GET A LOAN unless its from an establishment where you walk in to write your check. Trust me ever heard of LITIGATION ARBITRATION... i delt with those ass holes too. they even called my house and pretended to be the police. just be care full, and try not to get fuked! good luck

1-877-283-6730 is the phone number, ask for Chris Greenway even though you will never get to speak to him.

I finally told them I spoke to my attorney and that it was against the law in my state for them to keep extending the loan. I also advised them that with all the $40 withdrawls they took from my account, I considered my debt paid in full. I had to speak to 3 different "non-English" speaking customer service reps who told me that I was getting a great deal. They finally offered my one last payment of $50 to have the account paid in full. I accepted and will be glad to be done with them. It's a mistake I will not make again. They really freaked with the thought of having an attorney get involved........definitely worth that little white lie!! Good luck!!

Thank you I will be calling them! I have went back through my statments and they have pulled out almost 600.00 after 3 renewals in my state they have to pay off the ddebt in full. I will alo be going back to my back and having them reverse charges. I think I can go back 90 days! I also notice on my bank statements they either say web pymt auth or phone pymnt autho and I never give them premission over the phone to keep pulling money out of my account! I even told them back?? months ago when they did call me the one time that I wanted them to pulled the full amount out that the money was there. I have had a lot going on in my life. And now I have time to deal woth them.
