Sharon Williams keeps contacting me too and also threatened in an e-mail that I had better save up all the money I have.

I thought I could send a payment via western union not knowing that money gram is competely different...didn\'t know that cause I never used either one before...and then the harrassing began...I am SCARED!!!!!don\'t know what to do...I want to make a 50 dollar payment in good faith but now I\'m not sure if this place or her is legit....please help...

OK, I guess this is the PD6 Ventures issue. Many people have already expressed their dissatisfaction with this company.

How much have you paid on the loan account? Check the legal charges in your state and figure out the latest standing of your account. Also find out if they are licensed in your state. You will get the information from your state AG and the DFI

here is part of the e-mail she sent me:

The payment better make it here this evening or you will need to save
all the money you can to take care of a bigger matter.

I am sending a money order tomorrow for partial payment to PD6 as stated and NOT a money gram according to sharon

She is a BULLY! Do not back down. She tried the same crap on my and when she got a letter from the AG office here in NC, she continued. I wrote the AG again and sent them her comments about the NC AG'office... she tucked her tail between her lets when they sent her a second letter which was not plesant at all.

Who is this lady and who is she affiliated with? Is this a payday loan company or a regular loan company. You need to revoke the wage assignment. What state do you live in? Take a deep breath and calm down. She isn't god and don't let her fool you with all the loud mouthing. You need to familiarize yourself with the laws in your state. Where are you from? What type of loan is it and how long have you been paying and how much (total) have you paid? How much was your original loan for?

That little bit sounds like a nice violation of the FDCA:

For example, debt collectors may not:

* use threats of violence or harm;
* publish a list of consumers who refuse to pay their debts (except to a credit bureau);
* use obscene or profane language; or repeatedly use the telephone to annoy someone.

False statements. Debt collectors may not use any false or misleading statements when collecting a debt. For example, debt collectors may not:

* falsely imply that they are attorneys or government representatives;
* falsely imply that you have committed a crime;
* falsely represent that they operate or work for a credit bureau;
* misrepresent the amount of your debt;
* indicate that papers being sent to you are legal forms when they are not; or
* indicate that papers being sent to you are not legal forms when they are.

Debt collectors also may not state that:

* you will be arrested if you do not pay your debt;
* they will seize, garnish, attach, or sell your property or wages, unless the collection agency or creditor intends to do so, and it is legal to do so; or
* actions, such as a lawsuit, will be taken against you, when such action legally may not be taken, or when they do not intend to take such action.

The threat of "wage verification" is a common one - it sounds worse than it is. They cannot garnish your wages without first taking you to court and obtaining a judgement, so they won't be able to garnish your wages without you knowing about it.

Follow through with this and file complaints with your state's Attorney General.

Talk to your employer about this one. My HR does not give out information or does wage garnishment/reassignment without a court order.

Hi Folks --

Been away for a while taking care of STUFF.

Sharon Williams is on my doorstep. Took a loan out with a company called Total Lending in April to help my son out and have paid through July. Should have checked them out from the beginning. Total loan agreed upon was $480. Total paid was $630. I finally stopped the ACH with my bank. She sends me an ACH authorization form from Westbury Ventures on 8/2 and tells me to IMMEDIATELY CONTACT HER. On 8/3, Westbury took the money without my authorization. She likely put through the withdrawal before she sent the authorization form. I disputed with the bank explaining the whole thing. They froze my account and opened a new one with a notation for absolutely no ACH withdrawals. I'll keep the new one open and get another with a different bank. She contacts me telling me I'm a thief. I explain to her that Total Lending is not licensed to do business in my state. She starts threatening. She tried to intimidate me with various threats and I countered each of them, making her aware that I knew my rights and encouraged her to file a suit against me in my state so "she could have her day in court." She told me that no action would be taken, but continued to harass despite several CEASE AND DESIST messages from me. She still continues. I've received over a dozen e-mails with personal insults in the last 24 hours. Including late into the evening. This woman either lives at her work or works from home. I'm thinking the latter. I'm tempted to block the messages, but want to gather the evidence. I need info on how to get the headers from the messages she's sending so we can invesigate her physical location.

She's bragged about her dealing with AG offices and says they'll do nothing to her. She provided me with my own birthdate and told me "... obviously you????????ve lived too long ..." So now we have age-related insults.

This lady is a nuisance and has not only violated Federal Collection Practices, she's a bully and needs to be taken down.

How many are interested in gathering documentation to be complied into one huge complaint to the federal government?
