Which Direction?
try to avoid bankruptcy
Dear twise,
Try to avoid bankruptcy as it ruins the credit, also it remains in the Credit report for 10 years from the date it was discharged.
Read out article on why to avoid bankruptcy at http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/avoid-bankruptcy.html .

Thank you for the reply, if I am currently making payments normally and it isn't really effecting my lifestyle to a point where I can't make payments should I just keep going along on the same track of making double payments or whatever I can over the minimum payment?
My Suggestion
My suggestion will be to contact a credit counselor who can analyse the complete picture. A total debt of $85,000 is way too high from average, a small mistake can destroy your credit.
Try not to call
We always recommend written communication as it can be documented and used as a proof.

Thanks
