PDL's are very dangerous, and cause more harm than good. Have you looked at other options other than a PDL?
I would suggest finding family or friends to borrow from and RUN AWAY from the PDLs...
I'm speaking as someone who has BEEN THERE....And many of us have. It's not a road you want to go down.

I have to echo what Jessi said - stay away from PDL's. If you included any PDL's in your bankruptcy, then you know for a fact that those very loans were one of the factors that led to the bankruptcy in the first place. They are a trap that will lead to a downward spiral of debt, harrassing phone calls, threats, and more debt. Even if you think you are certain you can pay it back on time, why take that chance? There is always "something" that can happen to prevent paying the PDL back - a car accident, injury or illness (yours or a family member's), an emergency other than the one you took the loan out for in the first place...my point is that PDL's don't help - they only hurt. Why take the chance on putting yourself right back where you started when you filed bankruptcy??

Please listen to SueBee and Jessi. They know what they are talking about. Getting into the pdl trap agin is like walkin into quicksand - you wil have the life sucked out of you again. Read through the threads on this forum, maybe you might find the answer to how to where to look for emergency money. Check with the churches in your area, the county you live in the Salvation Army. Some counties even have something called a "Call first for Help" hotline that can give you the names of agencies where you can go for assistance. But please don't get into the pdl trap again.
Take the advice given above. This is all real and we don???
Take the advice given above. This is all real and we don????????t want you to suffer in the same way after taking a pdl like others.
You may ask for some help from your bank. Most banks value their customers who have accounts with them since long time. If you really think pdl is the only solution for you, make sure that have enough funds and pay it back with the next payday. The interest rates go higher if you are in defaults and the late fees keep adding up each single day. Be aware of this part before taking a pdl with any company. Research them with your state AG or the BBB. There is hardly one IPDL company that is reliable.

But, in answer to your original question---having a bankruptcy does not affect your ability to get a PDL. Which shows the lack of integrity these clowns have---they don't care what your financial situation is, they just want your money. HOWEVER, no one here is EVER going to recommend you getting one.

The good thing is that PDL's don't check your credit. THey just need your pay stub and your bank statement.
However, as the ladies have stated above, stay away from PDLs. Read some of the numerous stories of honest individuals who fell into the PDL trap. They know that you are struggling and you need money. They know that you cannot obtain a loan. They know that you are probably on your last leg and you need them. They can appear to be sweet and kind. But the moment you come to them and fall behind, you are sucked into their world of craziness and unable to be freed. Don't do it my friend. Don't do it.
