Help Wanted and Needed
I have about 6000 dollars in Debt and a wife that wants to be debt free and in a house by 2006. Is that possible?

Welcome to the forums, it is very much possible to be debt free by 2006 as your debt is not a very big amount. Try offering a lump sum to your creditor and settle it faster.

Tell your creditor that you are interested in paying off the money and also offer a good settlement deal. They hardly refuse $$$$$$$ :D
