Emerald Marketing is taking money from my account. How to stop them?

I got a payday loan with Emerald Marketing Group LLC. It was actually done online so I don't remember the website... next thing I know, I had a deposit from Emerald Marketing... now they are taking from my checking account... I have NO WAY of contacting them... this is such a rip off and ludicrus!!! Does anyone know how I can reach them so I can stop this!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Here is the info I came up with:

Emerald Marketing Group LLC
1489 Warm Springs Rd. Suite 110
Henderson, NV 89014
(800) 496-8958

Good luck.

Ask your bank to put a block on the company name. They know the payment code using which Emerald Marketing debits your account. However, closing the account will be the best option if you don't want them to do any kind of fraudulent activities with your personal info. Sometimes, they sell your info to another company or try to debit using different amounts. You will have to use extreme caution while dealing with them.

I have already had a debit to my account for $49.95 and then, I checked my bank account today and it was a debit for $90.00. They don't leave anyway of contacting them, no email or mail correspondence, no phone calls, no 800 numbers, no customer services.... just debits to my accounts.... I really didn't want to change my account since I have had it for almost 10 years with no problems... but you are right, for my safety... I think I will... Thank you so much for both of your responses...

robinsonrukiya, don't forget to ask your bank to dispute the debits already done by the pdl. They have to verify why the debits were done on your account. If they are unable to give you proper details, your bank will make arrangements and reverse the debits. It will be a nice thing to see the money back into your account.

i dealt with emerald marketing before and they make it pretty easy to pay back the loan but i didn't listen to the rep when i got my first loan. they sent me a contract and i had a # and an email address to contact them. i've been told, that a lot of people are so caught up because they know they are getting money, that they don't pay attention to what is being said and no one ever reads the contracts. all i can say is, if you don't follow the instructions, then you will get burned. all loan companies are the same. you have to read the fine print. no the fdcpa laws do not apply to them either and they will sue. i knew of a person who had their wages garnished for over $5000 when the loan was for only $200. Do your research before you mess with these loan companies.

I greed. I got a loan from this company for $390. I called them to find out why they were still debiting my account when I already paid $990. The also indicated none of the money goes to principle and it just extends the life of the loan. Meaning, I still owe them the $390 when they just made over double on me. Not fair. Does anyone know of a class action suit being field against this company or an attorney that will help us out.

My client forwarded their email to me and I contacted Mr. Czarnecki by email. He was upset that I challenged his ethics and legal basis for this contact. But they closed the account and will not be contacting my client again (so he says).

Anyone have an address or any information on them? I am trying to pay off my settlement so they will leave me alone and stop harrassing me and they will not give me money gram information, or an address or anything. I refuse to give them my bank account information again. They will not stop harrassing me and I can't get them to give me any information. If anyone has an address, please let me know. I have tried to get it via email and via phone and they are incredibly rude and the phone calls and emails keep coming!

I Live in Southern California. I got a loan from a completely different company in which I trusted. I never ever heard of Emerald. But an Emerald representative called me after I already got a loan from somebody else. I explained to the Emerald representative I've already recieved a loan from another company. I never esigned any contract from Emerald or anything. After I paid back the loan that I borrowed two weeks later then checked my bank account and it shows Emerald deposited a loan anyway. And they began debiting my account. I never gave them permission to deposit or withdrawl ANYTHING from my account. Now I'm stuck with this company getting into my back account. Should I just close the account? I have no idea how to even contact these people. They called from a blocked number.

Let me give anyone here who is looking for any contact information for Emerald Marketing. See, they don't give their information until you owe them money. I've been receiving massive amounts of phone calls and emails from them. A lady named Pamela left me a threatening email you wouldn't believe. Trust me, skip a few payments and you would've gotten contact information quicker than you believe! The lady Pamela's contact info is: 1-866-358-4608 Ext. 0107. Then there is man named Daniel Petty: 1-866-358-4608 Ext. 0109. I hope this was helpful for anyone.

Mrs. Marsha Sousley had called on 6/5/09 to set up payment arrangments with me. I told her I did not have payday loan by her company and she begs to difer. I asked her to email or fax me over the information. She said she can provide me a docket number only. I said that means nothing to me, I would like to see what I have agreed to if I requested or received anything from your company. She got bothered by my questions and said that she will have to turn this over to her legal department and she has contacted my payroll department to set up garnishments. I asked her whom did she speak to in payroll? She refused to tell me. I put her on hold and contacted my payroll department. They said they received a call from Mrs Sousley and she wanted to verfied my social and my employment with the company and asked for my banking information. Payroll could only answer that I was employed and hung up. I had not checked my email from my payroll department letting me know the call received was odd and not legal.

They suggested for me to close my account or change my information. Which I am glad I did. I get a call today at 8:00am sharp from Mrs. Sousley saying funds were not in my account. And she begin to threaten me. I told her funds where in my account but she did not have the information to where they are.
She said it was nothing else she could do for me and was turning this in to the court for fraud and what not. I said ok do what you do. But with out my signature or banking info you cant get far. She said she will give me 2 hours to come up with the money.

She called in two hours exactly and asked where the money was. I said I have it, but you need to show me proof of what I signed the loan date. She refused, and said she will give me another 30 minutes while she is on break.

Come on now, if she was seeking a loan from since 2007 they would of taking action already. She said the loan was for $300 but was asking for $550. But by the time she gets finish with me it will be close to $12,000.

Whatever!

I am starting to believe a lot of these companies are one company operating under different names. I checked a previous document I had from a long company, and it looks exactly like a document I received from another company. The number are pretty close as well. I have to get out of this payday loan mess fast. It's ruined my financial life.

If I'm not mistaken they are overseas. Don't speak to them when they call, hang up immediately, they will tire of talking to thin air a lot quicker then having someone to argue with. You may even consider changing your phone number. You could try a search in this site to see if you can locate their address and phone number, just type the name of the lender into the search box located in the upper right hand corner of this forum and see what other members have posted about them. Good luck.

Their number has changed to 1-800-370-6250. This place is a major rip off, and they need to be stopped. I would also interested be interested in joining a class action.

Close your account. That is the only way to make sure they don't continue to take funds from your account. It's not that hard just open a new account with the same bank. You may have to leave some funds in the old account to cover chacks but it may be better to contact anyone you wrote checks to and give them a new check from your new account. the longer you old account is open, the more they can take.

I have a payday loan with Emerald Marketing, they are supposed to take $90 out of my account today, but I called them yesterday (was put on hold for 40 minutes) and told them that I could not make the $90 payment because my account is overdrawn. They would not make a payment arrangement and basically told me that they are going to put the payment throught anyway. My account is negative because Nationwide Cash took money out of my account without permission stating that I had an account with them in 2004. I'm frusterated because I closed my wachovia account on 9/21 but they said because Nationwide Cash debited the account on 9/22 my account was re-opened. I'm extremely livid! I live in Connecticut, after my research, I don't even think these payday loans are legal. HELP!

Your bank should be able to give you this information. As a business owner, I have illegal withdrawals happen from time to time, and the bank MUST have this information, in order to be able to take money from your account. So start there.

And then, investigate if any fraudulent activity has taken place, and if so, SUE THEM!

They masquerade under different names. I noticed it before. I applied with different companies once, and their documents were identical. The only difference was the company name, and a few digits in the phone number.

guys...i'm still trying to figure out this company because i havent seen a post that i can actually use in order to know what to do with them...one or two of these posts sound like someone from emerald trying to act as a previous customer so that we will be scared about them garnishing our wages...the thing that i did was i cancelled all of my old accounts with my bank and opened new ones...tell your co-workers and your supervisor about this company and let them know to tell anyone that calls asking for you or about you that you no longer work at your job...then you change your telephone number and sign up with life lock(they will protect your ss# and other personal info from fraudelent companies or businesses that may be trying to use your info), then you monitor your credit report to make sure that they are not messing up your credit...your credit report matters more than the charges they claim one owes...then you send them an official letter to stop calling and harassing you at home or at work and make sure if u try to set up a payment,,,always get a letter with their letterhead stating the exact amount that you are willing to pay and nothing more....if they refuse,,,,just keep monitoring your personal info and tell them to get lost!!!!!!
