I was reading concerns from people dealing with the named group above and I am also experiencing the same problems has anyone received legal advice as to what is next?

smperfi199501,

Can you get past statements from your bank?... If you don't have a paper trail you probably are out of luck. Have you called Agent Decker with the Dallas FBI (find his number by googling Dallas FBI, just ask for him)? The deadline is next week so you should call him immediately if you want to be included in this.

I hope everyone is doing well out there... good luck in your efforts settling with your creditors yourself. It's stressful but it can be done!

Thought they are no longer allowed to do business in Arizona?? The BBB report above shows they still are.

I have never been able to recieve PM messages. My email address is choerlein(at)cinci(dot)rr(dot)com

It is going to take time. I know I sent in ALOT of info to go through and there are so many of us so I am sure it is a full time job to go through all the info. I believe something will come out of all of this for us though, there are so many of us with the same story from all over the country... how could they not help us. Everyone must stay posted in case something breaks...

With all of the proof the FBI has now from everyone, I would not think it would be much longer before they get a knock on their fancy front door. Like an earlier post stated, you get caught steeling a candy bar from a Seven 11 and your in trouble! Karma is on its way Stantons!!!!

WE have problems trying to get somewhere with this as well. THey have alomst $10,000 of our money and there has been no bills paid. All correspondnace has never been answered. We have tried to contact the Attorney Genereal office in our state and they say that they cannot be of assistance to us. We need to find out if there is possible a Class Action lawsuit on this firm, we would like to join in on it.

hi, i recently found this site which confirmed my suspicions about the Stantons.. they stole over 16k from me (not including a year of my life and other punitive damages) through their company Killer Kustoms. has anyone on this site had any luck actually recovering any of their losses and if so, i would love to get in contact with you to discuss my situation further.. i appreciate any feedback that anyone can give me.. thanks alot

3275, read this forum, at least the last several pages.... the FBI is investigating them and you need to contact the Dallas FBI immediately, the agent's name and info is posted in earlier posts.... deadline was Feb 15th but you may still be able to get in on this if you contact them asap.

If you are new to this post, please read the following. Many of us have gone through what you went through and we understand all the obstacles ahead. To better your financial situation, you must do the following:

1. Call each creditor or collection firm in charge and get assessments of the new accrued totals (it increased while you thought it was frozen.)
DO NOT MAKE ANY ARRANGEMENTS YET TO PAY OFF--get the situation details and then tell them you will call back in three days.

2. Each creditor will expect to be paid in full and will not inform you of your options (it's there job to collect not negitiate for you.) But these are the rules they can abide by. Offer at first a settlement of 75 cents on the dollar.
Bank of America--won't take anything less, MBNA and other companies can go as low as 60 cents, but not usually lower.
The creditor representative will alert you once your credit company approves the settlement option. If they don't, increase it slowly until they agree to settle for less than 100%. THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH.

3. NEXT Before you make any payments, get your settlement agreement in the form of an official letter including your account number and the total payoff amount agreed, plus the payment arrangements.

4. Payoff arrangements are usually in two forms. In full or divided into three monthly payments. You have 90 days from the agreement to pay it off, but no longer. Also if any of your payments are late or insufficient funds, the agreement is void.

4. Purchase a Credit Monitoring Report through Equifax for the next two years. Every time you settle, the revolving debt should show up as: Account Settled in Full instead of Charge-Off

5. Last after all your debts are paid, contact your bank for a credit card that will be used to repair your credit. Low limit, medium interest rate and paid off every 30 days.

6. This is not easy and most of us have withdrawn from every 401K, IRA and family and friend to pay off our debts. Good Luck.

7. Last but not least produce a fraud report of your case. When and if, you are pulled to bring all your evidence against the Stantons for reimbursement or even trial, you'll need to have an official fraud report ready to go. The FBI requested anything they could get their hands on, but fraud reports include all the necessary details for them to do their jobs well on our behalf. Fraud Report templates can be found on the internet.

Great advice SBR7, but I settled all my accounts for less than $.50 on the dollar. One for even $.33 on the dollar.. so It can be done. Tell them how you got ripped off, most of them have heard about the Stantons, and try to settle as low as possible.

I got a letter today saying it is under investigation but may take a while...meanwhile, I am entitled to certain rights as a victim, they sent a brochure of my rights and a case number so we all must remain patient... at least we know it is being investigated on a federal level.

mryder8478, have you read this website at all??? The deadline was Feb. 15th and it is not a lawyer, it is the FBI. Read this site, at least the last 20 pages or so and you will get the info you need, the name and address of the FBI agent.

I got frustrated and gave up for a while but it looks like a bunch of you stuck it out and are getting somewhere. It seems that it may be too late for me to do anything about it but what is the status with the FBI? I tried to google Agent Decker but I could not find anything. Can someone pass along the info to me ... I might as well give it a shot.
