A search of several 800-number databases returned no results. However, I called the numbers to find out who they are.

800-835-9614 may be an autodialer - when I called this number, I got dead air - no ring, nothing.

800-455-8026 is CCA - Collection Company of America. They are a collection agency.

The ID'r says "TOLL FREE CALL". I wish they wouldn't harass me. There is no record of them on the internet.

I get calls from this number often - it is reported they are a collection agency - I have a FICO score of 809 so have no idea why they are calling my number. I do not answer phone when this number calls - 888-226-1843

It's better to pick up the call and know why they are calling. If they are trying to collect on something you don't owe, just dispute it and send them a cease and desist letter.

If you owe and have not paid a debt,,, why make it easy and talk with them? They bought the debt pennies on the dollar, and now if want money, let them sue you, go to court. If not working, they have no way to garnasee your wages. If property jointly owned, they can not lean it... If file suit and win judgement then they have to collect,, if no money in bank,, where will they get it?
