Your first step is to find out your state's pdl laws, and you can do this by going to this link:

http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/

If you are having trouble paying these off you will definately need to work out a payment arrangement with the storefront and CashNetUsa (about the only ipdl that is licensed to lend in the states) As for PaydayOk, if you have been paying on this for quite sometime in roll over fees then it is possible you have already paid back the principal and allowable interest rate your state allows. If that is the case, block them from your account and send them a settlement letter demanding they mark your account paid in full. Also file a complaint with your state's attorney general's office against this particular ipdl.

You are not alone. Many here are fighting through this pdl mess. Take it easy, everything will turn out to be well. First, check the total payments done on the loan accounts. It is very important that you are aware of the laws in your state so that you can stand in front of the lenders who might be adding illegal charges. Since you have been paying for the last six months, maybe your accounts are already paid by now. Confirm the actual standing so you can take the next step.

Here is the link to your state's pdl laws;

http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/state_detail.cfm?id=NV

You could close your account and open a new one. It states that criminal action is prohibited unless there was criminal intent and the lender would have to prove this. And since you have been paying on these loans for 6 months, it's obvious you have been rolling these over and over and no criminal intent was done. I would just open a new account to gain back control of your check and deal with the pdls invidually, and if you legally owe anything on the principals then make a payment arrangement you can afford to pay them back.

well first you should close your bank account. no need to make it worse. then you want to call these people and set up payment arrangments some will and some won't. but you need to protect your bank account because i am sure you pay bills and much more with it and it would kill you to see that you have a negative balance and owe bills

I know that payday ok is very understanding, copy and paste your state laws into an email to them and the debt verification letter and I am sure they will work with you, I had 3 loans with them and they have marked all three paid in full. It's worth a try.

I am in the same boat as you so do not feel bad for being in the situation that you are in.

I too have a loan with Cashnetusa. They are a pretty reasonable company to work with if given the opportunity. Contact them and tell them of your situation and they will try to work out things with you.

But be careful. PDL's have a tendency to be your friend one minute and your worst enemy the next. Make sure you get everything written down and transcribe all conversations. If you are unable to make arrangements with these companies, contact a debt consolidation company to learn what your options are. It is also recommended that you contact the attorney general's office in Nevada to find out whether there is any pending litigation against these companies and if these companies are legal in your state. You will be surprised at how many of these pdl's are not legal in your state.

I was just like you. I had a pdl loans from hell for a year. We all make mistakes. I was afraid and alone until I came here and found that there were others who are in the same boat as me. You have come to the right place. I just wish I would have found this out sooner.
