So i have a question? I know how to get people out of online and payday loans,is it that i put my website up? If so any suggestions on how to let people know how to get out of these online loans for nothing? What should i do so i follow the forums rules. I advertise your website right on the front page of my site and people do use the link to go to your site? I dont mind if they go and get the help from your site as long as these poor people get out of payday debt.

Here is what i dont understand with my post about my website being deleted. In the last hal hour i have gotton a gal out of 6 online payday loans and she is not paying back a dime and the goverment in Illinois is getting the names of these online payday loans so they can go after them. Also a guy in Oregon is happy as a lark with the storefonts he is paying back on terms he can afford. If the payday loan stores wont let the people pay bck in installments then the goverment forces them to. Now i would like to know what is wrong with what im doing. These people were in thounds in debt and in a half hour look at them now. I just dont get it why i was deleted. We get people out of debt. I have worked years with goverment to help these people that dont know where to turn.

Aaron - welcome to the forums!

It sounds like you have the same goal in mind as we all do here - getting out of debt and stopping certain members of the payday lending industry from preying on consumers by lending illegally and charging usurious interest rates by making our state governments aware of their activities.

Why don't you stick around and get to know us? We're a nice group of people, dedicated to helping others just like us - those who have been (or are still) in debt and fighting their way out.

Thank-you i will if i am able to. From the way i see it there is no reason for people to be in payday loan debt. I get people out eveyday. Once people are educated on there state laws it is unreal what these folks do! Thats the part i like.

Us too, Aaron! We love to see someone use their state laws to their fullest advantage to get out of a payday loan mess. We never advocate not paying the principal and allowable interest on the loan, however. But we do advise people to avail themselves of their state's Attorney General's services if necessary, to stop PDL companies that are lending illegally.

When the payday loans are illegal and the state regulatores are looking for them you better believe i tell them not to pay a dime back and file a complaint with the Attorney General's office. Also when these folks are being charged to much interest the state regulator will get all the interest put back in there account. It is going on right now in Idaho. The regulator went through the roof when he heard about the interest. Then a gal in N.C. got money put back into her account because the bank manager saw they were pulling money out when they shoud not have been. I can go on and on with these kind of stories and you would not how much people thank you for helping them.

I advertise pdl's from google adsense and a whole page on my website so people that are doing loan after loan can see a way out. Plus this way it gives me more keywords to get traffic. As far as the California AG doing nothing? That state is one of the toughest. What are you asking them to do and remeber the turn around time for them is about 30 day's.

If you looked at my site i educate people like crazy on payday loans. I put them in touch with the regulatores in there state. Most cases the regulator wants there phone number to help them out. When we were in our payday loans we saw the same people in differnt stores doing the same thing we were. Getting another loan to pay off another. That is one reason you see payday loan advertising on my site. We did not know there was a way out and we paid $23000. in fees before we knew of a way out. This was before the online loans. So the people are doing the same thing online. Some i have dealt with have had 18 online loans trying to pay one to pay the other and they run into our site and cant believe there is a way out of this maddness. Education and getting people out of payday debt is what we are all about.

So if you are in payday loan debt go to your state regulator and talk with them. You might find out they have been charging you to much interest. Or they are not even suppose to be loaning money in your state. Find out who regulates the payday loans in your state and ask them about the laws. You will be surprised.

Are you sure they are not licensed to conduct business in your state? Did you ask the regulator of California to see if they are licensed in California? The licensing data base will also tell you. If they are not licensed then from helping people from Califonia and helping the regulatores to find these unlicensed places and the state sueing them for millions. One was working out of Ireland and found out they were working through a storefront licensed in California. The customer did not pay back a dime on that one. If people check with there regulatores and file a comlaint thiss would help tighten laws.

I would give you the phone numbers to call for Califonia but you cant on this forum. Call your regulator,Atterny General, Sec of state. Sec of state is where the payday loans have to apply to get a license to conduct any business. Give them the names of the payday loans and see what they say.

It is a good thing you are asking these questions because by the time we are done here people will get a real education on how to get out of payday debt. These payday loans try and do scare people into staying in debt but like the local goverments say if these folks knew more about the laws they would be able to get out of debt. You would be surprised at what regulatores tell me to tell people. Thes guys are looking for the ones that are not licensed in there state and there are hundrends of them. People need to know this stuff instead of believing the threats that the payday loans throw at them. I have heard from people accros the country say such things as they are threating to take my kids, comming to arrest them at work, put liens on them on and on and on. This is what makes the politions so mad! It is agaisnt the law to make threats. Call your bank to see who regulates the payday loans in your state.

The online payday loans have to go by the states laws
and be licensed in that state to do any business. In there contract where it says they only have to go by the laws in the state they are licensed in is a bunch
of crap. We have gotton so many people out of debt because of that it isnt funny. If they give you a loan
and they are not licensed in your state, you are out of debt. Regulatores find out there names and sue them for millions and blackball them from the state.
This is what people need to learn. And the store fronts have to take a payment arrangment. I have had Aaterney Generals from different states tell me if they dont let the costumer set one up then they will force them to.

They are not licensed in Cal and I did file with the AG and The Dept of Corp.. Big deal the AG sent me the forms for the Dept of Corp that I had already sent. Now I am still paying to my cash now and am broke..
The store front that was also working outside the Law Just went away.. They owe me over 5000.00 Long story. But My Cash Now is not about to work with me and I cant afford to have my work called and people know or be bothered..
so.. I will pay until it is over and learn my lesson..
The CA AG is worthless and unless many or the press or a mircle I am on my own..

Call the AG office and see who took your case and ask why nothing is being done. Send cash cow a certified letter not to call you at work.

If they are hitting your account go to your bank and talk with the bank MANAGER and tell him/her what is going on. You need to close the account. If things are pending ask to have the charges reversed so you can close the account.

Almost every online payday loan is doing business in your state without a license. The regulatores love to hear this. In almost all sases like this you dont pay back a dime. Call the regulator and have him show or e-mail the state laws to where they have to have a license.

If a storfront does not want to work with you on a payment arangment call your AG office and they will have the payday store make the arangments. Also get a hold of your sec. of state. This is who they have to go through to get a license. Hope this helps you guys.

My name is Aaron and I run a website to get people out of payday loan debt. I get e-mails and phone calls from people that are so scared and in debt. I am so sick of how these payday loan companies conduct business. Some folks call and say they want to commit suicide, having a nervous break down, whats the use of going to work. I can go on and on. This has got to stop! Lets get out of payday loan debt. (www.getoutofpaydayloandebt.com) and get word out to the people that there is help from regulators and Attorney Generals office. These people are so far in debt and scared by the threats from payday loan companies they don't know where to turn for help. Im sick of hearing from the ones that can help them to go in the right direction say well they got themselves in the mess let them figure out how to get out. What a bunch of bull! Everyone gets in trouble and needs a hand up. This is going on across the country not just Washington state. Im going to the legislation meeting in January with some people that have been through payday debt. My phone number is 509-238-****. Lets educate these people on the laws that our government has for them and let them know about the regulators that are more than willing to help them. Yes right now my spelling stinks because im so mad! Also allot of words im using is not what im wanting to use for these so called business people! I'm trying to be nice. Aaron Medres

Link made inactive as per forum rules. Phone number edited for your safety - Mike

Some state need las that protect the folks that live there. Ohio,Idaho are the worst. Now did you know if a on-line payday lender is not licensed in your state you do not have to pay back the ilegall loan?

Aaron - while your last statement may be true, legally, anyway:

Quote:

Now did you know if a on-line payday lender is not licensed in your state you do not have to pay back the ilegall loan?
(sic)

Morally, it's questionable. If a company, regardless of whether they are illegal or not, loans you money, are you not honor-bound to at least pay back what you borrowed? I'm not trying to get into an ethical debate here - just offering the opinion - and that's all it is, my opinion - that on a moral basis, you should at least pay back what you borrowed. As far as the exorbitant fees and interest rate these companies try to charge, I don't believe you should pay anything more than what your state allows for interest. Pay back the loan plus the interest allowed by your state law, then demand to be marked paid in full and file a complaint with your state's Attorney General or Department of Finance.

Also, Aaron - your website link and e-mail address will be removed from posts because it is in violation of forum rules to list those. Advertising a website you own is against the rules, and listing your e-mail address is simply a bad idea - it opens up your e-mail for all sorts of spam and trash e-mail. E-mail addresses are removed for protection.

yes of course you will take off the website to help people get out of these loans. My e-mail is my business. And like many regulatores say that if the payday loan companies dont have a license in the state they are giving loans, then tell the person to close there account and not pay them. That is also said by many lawmakers accros the country. They are looking for these illegal payday loans. And you want to talk about morals? I get people out of debt every day legaly and help the regulators to find these illegal companies. Read the aricle in the Seattle times this morning on the fines they are charging to some payday lenders. MMMMMM i live in Washington state and know the regulatores very well here and also im helping to pass the 36% cap on these crooks in the January Legaslation meeting. They have no morals threating and scaring people now ddo they. But you go ahead and take off my website and e-mail and im going to take off your link that your own boss likes on my website. Have a nice day and stop using the excuse and making it look like you are a good guy by trying to protect me. Things need to be said.
