if you settle a bill with one collection agency and then the company sends the bill to another collection agency is this legal
This is not legal but you should have the "Paid in Full" letter
This is not legal but you should have the "Paid in Full" letter from the company after the debt is cleared.
You can't trust any company because they will possibly sell the adjusted balance to other companies who will attempt collections on you for the same debt. You don't want this to happen so get the documentation done in the required time.
