Can they do this?


I got a threatening call from Bass and Associates and then i was told i had to pay $580 down and then make payments I was threatened with litigation. I sent out $200 but they called back after getting the money and said i had to send the other $380 today. I told the i couldn't pay anymore today and was told they would file charges of theft by deception. Can this be done????


spanky783---I have been threatened with litigation also (by a different company). Did you tell them when you would be sending the other $380? I wouldn't get to worried about it, especially if you plan on sending some more money in the near future. However, someone else might have a different opinion or information here on the boards.

They are blowing smoke. They are not going to do anything. Did you make them validate the claim before you paid them anything? They are getting out of hand with their scare tactics. You need to file a complaint against them with the FL. AG as soon as possible.

I am with Tammy keep those complaints rolling to Attorney General. The more complaints they get the faster action will be taken. Kyside38
