Who are these idiots, BCR?


Okay, so this BCR place calls me with the usual 2 numbers showing up on caller ID (619-374-0125 and 888-714-2338) so I call them back at your number listed here of 800-831-7311 only to have them ask if I know a "Passion Jones". Who the heck is that? I say no and he says okay we'll remove you from our list. Wouldn't you think if I legitimately owed $$ for something they would tell me why they called? Also on the caller ID it says something about Cingular Wireless.... since I have NO cell phone and never have I think they are actually calling us from bogus cell phones (?). What do you think?


But not likely. Unless you write a letter to the company, the calls may never stop........or you can do like i did and change numbers...go unlisted...and
Order privacy director, so anytime a number comes up without a name, the call will not go through unless they identify themselves that will sift a lot of bad and unwanted calls. I am a collector, so i know that it is a long message that will tell you to identify yourself and you have to wait while music plays while it tells you whose calling...and you can actually deny the call///it is a long process that i hate, and i never wait long enough, to let the call go through////it only costs like 5.00 a month

Yes, they keep harassing me too and it's been almost a year. Although I do have a debt with Cingular since I terminated my contract early because I received no reception/service after trying 3 different phones I feel I don't owe them a dime.

Most of them are from BCR with either that 800 number or some 202-607-xxxx number but always a different name. I've had them remove my number from the list several times to no avail. NOW, after dealing with this BS for over a year having Habib call me looking for James Smith or Calisha Cotton or whoever did this weeks Credit card scam, this guy tells me to call my phone provider and tell them I no longer wish to receive solicited calls and I should be all set. I'm calling Vonage right now...

These freaks keep calling my mother's phone in her room in a nursing home asking for Passion Jones and the number to return their call is 888-486-4722, the number that they call from is 888-402-3159. She has had this number since she and my Dad married in 1948, so it's not like they are calling someone who might have moved recently. I've called numerous times and it is allegedly a student loan service. If you Google "Passion Jones"=porn chick!! Jackasses!!
