BCR Woes

You can send them a letter via certified mail/return receipt requested, asking them to cease and desist all communication to you on your telephone number of xxx-xxx-xxxx.

I don't know if this contact info is correct, but this is what I found on the BBB site.

If they continue contacting you after you receive your confirmation that your letter was received and signed for, you can file a charge against them for breaking fdcpa regulations.

At this point, I am going to try anything and everything to get these calls to stop. It's outrageous.

Have you checked to see if your phone company can somehow put a block on the numbers??

Go to your attorney general office and search for the company, BCR. They must be having some information about their business. File your complaints with the AG.

Call BCR and inform the person who picks up the phone that you have reported them to the AG and the FTC for not stopping to call the wrong person. This should make them change.

Letter went out today, hopefully there will be no more calls but if there is, I will try some of the other suggestions. Thank

what ever you do, its wont work. ive tried everything. they dont care. they need alot of complaints from the FTC and AG

they just called me too, this is ridiculous! they were calling for a gary moore, and gary moore has never lived at this address, they told me that if i wanted to be put on the no call list that i would have to write them a formal letter stating that i don't want to be contacted, and when i mentioned the no call list, they said "we don't have to pay attention to the no call list, we are a collections company" and the lady got pissed off and hung up on me...BULLSHIT!
