crs bullying me, how can i stop this

crs called me today and stated i had taken out an account with another lender, then stated if i planned to take care of this "or the will continue to process", i stated i didnt mind to take care of the account, and asked how much. crs/samantha stated can you pay the full amount today or over a period of time. I stated ill make payments, then they stated they needed to secure the arrangement by checking account. When i told them i had no account and i would send moneygram, they said with no account i had 48 hrs to come up with full amount or else. I asked or else what, they stated we will process, i asked what is process? they stated it would go to attourneys and i would be charged and arrested. I told them you cant say that its illegal, then samantha backed up and stated she didnt say that. i said for a phone call thats being recorded without my permission it wouldnt be hard to rewind the tape, if any tape at all. she then proceeded to bully me more, finally i told her she was bullying me and harrassing me, and she said he wasnt. then she bullied me into giving her my account number and routing number and generated fake check numbers for payments. she then stated she was helping me, i told her no she was bullying. what can i do?

You had the right point all along, telling her what's up about her actions being illegal.

Except when you got to the part about her bullying you into giving out your checking account #. Why did you give in?

Who is CRS, anyway, and who are they collecting for? If you don't agree to them taking any money from your account, you should document your objections and send it to the company as well as your bank.

i did give in with the routing and accpunt number, but the account she has in her possession now is .........closed, and well se what processing really means. it may be wrong to do so, but this will let them know real quick im not going to be pushed around anymore, and if she wants to get paid it " will " be my way. I had to do it, to other companies wich i beleive is the same company, Bass and associates / did the same thing to me 4 months ago, used the same script and everything word fo word but only gave me 6 hrs from time of call, to pay or else. and i almost never recovered financially because of that,, and after paying they sent me no receipt conformatiaon of debt being satisfied nothing , i will not be bullied again ........the only question is now what do i do when they call back after they cant pull money from a closed account

Ok good. Now they're going to threaten to have you arrested for giving them a bad account # ... after all, that amounts to fraud. You have 2 hours, 12 minutes and 27 seconds to pay in full before the cops come and throw you in jail for 47.2 years.

Tell her you were high on crack and must have read the account numbers wrong. Or maybe you have dyslexia and can't read numbers right, and that's why you prefer to mail payments in.

I would say "when you can talk to me on a professional level, and lose the idle threats that you can't enforce, then maybe we can work something out." And when she threatens to send the cops, tell her "good, you know where I'm at, I'll be sitting here waiting... or would you like me to go down and turn myself in?"

My bottom line would be "Do you want to get paid?" Her response "Yes...". Your answer, "tell me where to mail a payment." When she objects, start over "Do you want to get paid...." and just keep going.

I once had a collector tell me I'm wasting his time. I said "good then we can both agree that we're wasting each other's time, so why don't you hang up?" He said "I'm getting paid either way so why don't you hang up." So I said "No YOU hang up." And he said no again. So I said okay, and we sat there in silence for about 2 minutes waiting for the other person to hang up. I finally said "Are you done? I can sit here all day." And he hung up.

i feel fantastic now everything ive read has given me great hope, now tomorrow or whenever they call back, im really going to teach them a lesson in paying, because they have broke the law in their threatning attempts, i will use that aginst them to pay my bill for me, due to laws of fdcpa, using tactics as such can result in suit up to a thousand dollars plus attourney reimbursment. so with that said they can pay 575 or 1000 wichever is convienent for them oh and by the way they have 48 hrs to do so or ill get my attourney, either way ill win!!!!!!
screw these scam artists im a car salesman and people call my profession crooks. screw that. im taking these punks down....... thanx for all replys and if you do or dont think this idea is good please tell me
