Although the company didn't follow your state laws while lending the loan, but it seems you have overpaid them. The best thing for you to do will be to close the checking account so that they don't withdraw more money from your account. If you don't use caution now, this company will drain you in a deep hole from where it will be tough for you to return back to normal. Talk to someone at your bank and request them to either close the account or block Route 66 Funding from doing any further debits. Block them with the company's name so that they don't manage to debit using different amounts.
Later the company will try to contact you and ask for more money. They will try to scare you with all the jail threats and a fraud is filed against you. Don't be scared. You know you have paid them excessively and there are serious complaints against them with the FTC, BBB and different AG's office. If they try to intimidate you, report them to the legal places.
