Payday loan - what to do?

I received a call today from Liability SOlutions out of Canada related to a payday loan from EZPayDay Cash. Actually they called my brother and friend and threatened them with subpoena whatever good that would do. SO i called and agreed to overnight them 518 for a 300 loan. I even called and gave them a tracking # but it hasnt left yet. After reading, they sound similar to Ellis Crosby, should i pay or go get the package before it leaves?

Interesting how a little investigation can bring out the real truth.

Anyone wanting more information on the boggus law firm of Paul Kuperstein and Associates should log on to the Paul Kuperstein forum - they will get all the information they need on this scam company there.

Their bluff has been called many a times to no avail on their part there. They keep trying to clear their name from any wrong doings but it will never happen - EVER. People are aware now and they have been exposed for the con artists they truly are once and for all.

I guarantee that the person posting as "Guest" is Mr. David himself or someone else from that company. Seems to be they are posting everywhere on this website trying to defend their illegimate actions in harrassing and trying to con people out of their money.

Today at 2:23pm, Mr. Seargent from the law offices of "Paul Kupferstein and Associates" left a voice message for some gentleman on my phone saying that it was urgent to call them back regarding some legal case. At first I was going to call the law office to say they got the wrong number but something about the message seemed weird. The caller sounded like he was reading the message.

After a quick search on the internet, I found out that this is a big scam - a scam that has so far mostly targeted Americans and people in Southern Canada. I called my telephone provider, Northwestel, to inform them that this scam has now reached Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. My community only has 19,000 people so they must be desperate to reach new locales.

I urge others to call their phone companies, the RCMP, and tell their friends about this as it is infuriating that this is still going on.

This is the law office of Mr. Paul Kupferstein and Associates. Northern Ninja if indeed you were contacted in error I recommend you cotact Mr. Seargent to let him know that the person he is looking for can not be reach at your number. We do not have many files in our office from residence of the Northwest Territories, so it was easy for me to narrow the window regarding the file in question.
I urge you to contact Mr. Seargent so he can close this file noting that we were given the incorrect contact number.
Should you have any further questions feel free to contact me.
Charline 905-474-3535 ext. 513

I have received several threatening calls from a "Mr. Sargeant" from "the Law Firm" (I googled the law firm phone number and found this number attached to LSI which brought me here after I googled this person). I called Mr Sargeant who threatened to file a fraud case in my local town court in NY (he is in Canada?). Against a company I do not know nor have I heard of? Navaho? Any help?

I received a phone call this morning from this so-called Paul Kupferstein & Associates. They claimed that some company filed a lawsuit against me. I cussed them out, not even realizing at the time that this was a scam anyway. I was very angry and depressed. Then something told me to check them out online. All I needed to do was type in their phone number, and I found this forum. Thanks to all of you for the information I found here. You have made my day. I called them back and told them they were busted, perhaps putting fear in them. Well, maybe it didn't work, but they now know I know what they are up to, and hopefully I will not be getting any more calls from them. Does anyone know of any reliable ways to report them to the authorities? Apparently these people are stealing money from unsuspecting people. These jerks belong in jail.

You are right, the phone number is 905-474-3535. I'm not sure where, when, why or how the other information was posted - it's just not true. There are so many things posted here that just aren't true. I know you all think we are all a bunch of horrible people, but the majority of the information posted here is false. Yes, the paralegals are firm, and they are no-nonsense, they have a job to do and they do it very well.
Perhaps not you, but so many people that have posted here, have come across this forum and thought "great, I found a way out of paying off my debt."
I've read it myself. Please just take care of your outstanding matters, and don't look for ways out if you truly do owe a company money. If it's not the law office contacting you it will be another recovery company.
Happy Canada Day / 4th of July everyone!

I know for a fact that this office is NOT a law
office, it may say that on the front of the doors
but its not. They are not a collection agency (that costs to much) at the same time they pay a lawyer to USE his name, that's all. Law offices is just a front, people wont pay a collection agency.

I got a call today from a Mr. Sargent threatening me as well as my parents and sister to pay off this payday loan company. I have never used this payday loan company that he is accusing me off. He told me that I would be receiving court papers by Friday and would be required to be present infront of a judge. Not only myself but my parents and sister will have to be present to stand before the judge. When I called him back later today to ask him for the mailing address of the "Law Office" so I could mail him the money ($3300) he wouldn't give it to me. He just told me that I would have to stand before the judge for this so called fraud suit against me. I also asked him for his full name so that I could keep record of it, and to my surprise he wouldn't give it to me. I checked out this website and I'm glad that I did, they won't be getting any money from me. I did tell him to fax off the documents to my attorney and that was over 7 hours ago and I have not received anything. I don't think that I will ever hear from him. How many people do you think that they have scammed? How do you think that they get all there information because thats really scary?

Its pretty sad how all of you monitor this forum faithfully, trying to make a good name for yourselves!!! Give up!!! People are on to you!

Get a life Guest!! You just can't handle people speaking the truth huh?? I too ran into a situation with Mr. David from this Paul Kupferstein Law Office. Apparently I am being accused of dialing 900 numbers. The telephone company credited my account without any problems. Now I am being sued by this so called law firm for $623.45. I am so glad that I found this website. I am going to be contacting the BBB and phonebusters. Thanks

Guest - say what you will, hide behind your monitor. You know your company is corrupt as do 99% of us here.
Once again, no matter what you write, you have been exposed and nothing you say or do will change the opinions of who you have harrassed. Continue to try and somehow as unachievable as it is, convince people that you are a glorious, truthful company and everyone on here are liars - you will get nowhere.

I cannot believe how much time you spend on this forum. It truly amazes me how a company could pay you to do this for a living - but then again, look at the company you keep.

I am certain, you will come on here once again and take pot shots at everyone on here because you know no better.

You are wasting space on a forum topic that does not, nor wants your comments here - they are negative and provide nothing to the people who are here looking for guidance and advice.

Unfortunately, sadly, you will return because you just can't help yourself. Why not use your time wisely for once?

You don't know who I am, just like you hide behind your monitor, I don't know who you are either. What I do know is that you lie. What good or help do you think you are giving anyone by posting lies?
Perhaps my posting here isn't helping anyone, but at least I'm being truthful.
The funny thing about liars is that only they and the one they lie about knows the truth. I guess the better liar is the one that utlimatley wins the trust of those he/she is attempting to decieve.
You win............

Like I have said before, say what you will to make yourself feel better about the choices you have made in your life, the choice to work for a company you do and the choice to try and get away with the lies you write.

That is right, I win. I win because there are many other people like me who have had to encounter the lies and threats from people like you. Once again, you are the only one defending your actions.

I don't see others supporting your opinion like they do mine and others. What does that tell you? That's right, hundreds are lying and you (1 person) are telling the truth - what a joke!

Time to give it up - although you won't - sad scenario for you - your choice though.

Seems you have accused "Newbie" as well as "guest" of lying according to this "post here". So another lie comes of out your mouth - like that is a surprise.

I too second "newbie"'s comment - please do "get a life".

Once again you have been exposed for lying and the fraud you are.

You are the definition of "liar".

? My position is very clear - you don't make any sense. Someone posted that they were contacted as a result of some 900 number services. This is impossible, as the law office doesn't not represent any companies from this industry. Have I confused someone? Why do you say that I lie? I'm not looking for a fight, I've just responded to a post that was false. This forum is to help people, how is making up stories going to help anyone?
