I am filing my own BK 7, on form 6F it says "If claim is subject to setoff, so state" what do they mean


I'm not sure, but what I think is that "claim is subject to set off" this statement means if the creditor owes you money say $10K (e.g your deposit with the bank to whom you owe money) and you owe him $50k, then the creditor can take away your $10k and you will owe only $40k. This $40K will be included under bankruptcy which may be discharged.
