I have salliemae loans going into default, no notice yet, but soon, what do I need to do within the 30 days to request a hearing to stop immediate garnishment. What is rehabilation of a loan, I am owing 90,000 in loans which were originally at 34000 but having much hardship and health concerns, filed bankruptcy 1999 for economic hardship what do I need to do, reconsolidate with a service company, will they accept principle plus half of interst as the consolidation . I need help desperately, worked with student assistance for over 1 year while making small bimonthly payments as advised by them,now they are no longer able to assist me, depleted all options. Please advise me.
