Paying partial payments to Credit Cards before filing Chapt. 7?

I am filing Chapter 7 sometime in May. I have used my credit cards in the recent past so I need time to let the 90 days run before filing. My question is... would it be helpful for me to make partial payments on my credit cards in hopes of keeping the harrassing phone calls from creditors to a minimum, and would this slow down the process of my cc company sending it to collections or, worse, filing suit? I really don't think I can take the phone calls and was just hoping partial payments would help. If not, then maybe I should just save my money. Advice? Thanks!
