cash advance check cashed to pay lawyer????

Could I use one of the cash advance checks, put it in my account and pay for my lawyer fees that way? I'm just trying to figure out how to come up with money for a lawyer. I haven't filed yet, but know I'll need money to do so. I think I saw something about 90 days, so could I cash that check and save the money and file in 90 days? Any advice would be great appreciated. Thanks in advance!
