I was reading concerns from people dealing with the named group above and I am also experiencing the same problems has anyone received legal advice as to what is next?

The Dallas FBI is still investigating them, you should call them and see who is handling the case now.

Last year I started a website, masteringmydebt.com, that is intended to provide free debt elimination help. The site was a result of a vendor that wanted to charge me over $10,000 to help me eliminate my debt. Most of you will agree that that such a cost is absurd given that a person is trying to get out of debt. I currently pay a monthly subscription to enable all my visitor to receive over three dozen calculators for free. I try to make up my monthly costs with advertising throughout the site. However, aside from books that are for sale as part of an Amazon affiliation, a visitor can receive everything else for free. Please visit my site and help spread the word to others.
Good luck to all,
Amir Rubin

I was refering to Agent Nichols being out of the office. If the Stantons were to start another credit management business and we were to get wind of it that would be a great deal of fun for all of us. I do not believe the feds would let that happen. There is such a large amount of evidence of wrongdoing they would have to have new SSN, Federal TIN, names, addresses, etc. to do so. I know Nevada, Texas, Arizona and Arkansas are off limits to them for a fact. In fact the new AG in Arkansas isn't very merciful on deceitful business practices. He has run all the payday lenders out of the state with no mercy. If they want to stay in the stay of Arkansas they have to play by Arkansas rules or perish.

He is now targeting credit management companies and debt relief companies. He is eyeing statewide regulation and strict policies to govern their operation. I hope he will move to the federal level at some point. He really seems to have the interests of the consumers at his heart. I didn't vote for him but know I would without hesitation. I wish he had been in office when this business first started for me although the previous AG had laid most of this groundwork and they have worked together. I think that is because of stories such as mine and others they felt an obligation to do so. This problem of credit is going to get much worse. I hope we can retain leagal champions in office to fight for the average consumer.

I received Notice today as well from the United States Bankruptcy Court of Arizona. They must have listed all of us. I????????m surprised that they still maintained our records.
There is no way I can be in AZ for the meeting of Creditors!
Can someone with knowledge of Chapter 7 please help us? I????????d like to understand what will happen if it is granted to the Stanton (Debtors). With us, (the victims) being listed as the Creditors. How dare they list me as a creditor!!!!!!!!!

I received a notice too! I spoke to Brian Mullen, the Trustee listed on the notice. I'm going to mail him info regarding RMP and the info I sent to the FBI. Go to www.azb.uscourts.gov to file a complaint objecting to the discharge of the debtor (The Stantons). These people CANNOT just file bankruptcy and wash their hands of all of us! At the very least, if we cannot get our $ back, they need to spend time in jail!

If they think the courts will protect them they are crazy! It's either our money back or prison for a long time. They can't even act they didn't mean to rip anyone off! I like in the papers how it says they ave no assets....my ass! They belong in the gutter without a dime!

Brian Mullen returned my call a couple days ago and informed me the reason why the letter was sent is because the Stantons when filing for Bankruptcy put us as Creditors asking for money owed.

He mentioned to logon to the AZ website for more information on the case. He also mentioned that there is nothing I need to do at this time and just wait for additional paperwork that should be coming in the mail and do exactly what it says to do.

I indicated to him that we have been in contact with the FBI and the FBI has received information about our issues with the Stantons. I gave him Agent Decker's name but I remember he is no longer handling the case.

Does someone remember the name and phone of the new FBI Agent handling the case?

I have been trying to contact Troy at the FBI since receiving the Stantons bankruptcy letter. I have yet to hear anything back from him. I have also tried contacting the local FBI agency that came and talked with me about a year ago. I have yet to hear anything back from them.

At the very least I would like to know how this could even be remotly possible for them to file this considering their already documented past in the Arizona courts and the on going FBI invistigation.

I wonder if the Stanton's ever heard of this...I know they are not too intelligent. The only intelligence they have is how to screw people over, such a talent!!!

Hi Peter,
My problem is I signed up a few years ago and they never paid my creditors. I got some suits filed because of the MMG group not paying them. I canceled my account with them and requested my money back since they just took it without paying my creditors like they were supposed to. It has been a few years and still I haven't received my money.
Thanks,
Annie

Peter?
Annie
MMG and their owners Chris and Hyla Stanton stole many peoples money, including mine. Same thing, I paid them???????.they kept the money and did not settle all my accounts. Then they disappeared with the money. They also had some other business that they used to steal peoples money, including ebay.
I know this is a long tread but if you go back a few pages you????????ll see that many of us sent our evidence to the FBI in Feb of 2007. We have had no real feedback from the FBI as of yet.
Now the Stanton????????s are filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and claiming us as creditors. In other word, they are claiming not to have the funds to pay us back.

I can understand the concern, but don't panic folks.

A bankruptcy won't discharge any debt arising from fraud or defalcation while acting in a fiduciary capacity. 11 U.S.C. ????523(a)(4).

In other words, if you take someone's money by lying to or cheating them, the law won't protect you.

Good luck to you all.

Why would anyone do business with a company with that goofy name. Let's get real! P.S. Always check out a company with the BBB before you sign up for their services. If they're a lawfirm, check with the State Bar Assoc. in the state they operate to see if they have any complaints. A little homework will save you a lot of aggravation.

At the time, the company had an ok repoir. I am sure people did their homework...lets not just forget about the Stantons and the many innocent people they took money from, they know right from wrong!! They still need to pay for all of the money they stole, many have gone to prison for these same kinds of practices and so should Chris/Hyla!!! What's makes them an exception Samspade?
