Tried debt settlement and now I'm heading for bankrupcty...

Hi everyone, been helping a family member do their own debt settlements over the last 18 months and was on track working out some great settlements and payment plans.
Their debts have all made it to their second and third collection agencies and these people are threatening and harassing them and my family. .
His unsecured debts have gotten way too high!
I will keep you all posted how things go during this sad process.
