bk and avoiding lawsuits

a question was answered by Roxette regarding claiming bankruptcy after being sued I believe she stated bankruptcy would stop the suit ( by the way I am referring to credit card debt) she also said something about being careful if a judgement has already been placed before debt is discharged. Can someone explain to me what that means. Can one still be sued? Thank you
If the debt is in bankruptcy you cannot be sued for it. Bankrup
If the debt is in bankruptcy you cannot be sued for it. Bankruptcy wwill also take care of any current judgments.
