Im with a debt management company and lord knows that they are doing the best they can with what i send them, but one of the PDL companies that i was with drained my bank account and i wasnt able to send them any money this pay period.I stopped payment on the check but they sent it through electronically 3 times with lesser amounts to get the money. In addition, i wrote a check to citifinancial to keep them from filing suit and because my account was drained, the check bounced and know im worried that they will file suit. I am seriously considering debtors court or bankruptcy. I am getting calls and getting more and more frusrated because i want to pay everyone i owe back, i really do, but they seem to think that i have buckets of money lying around and just dont feel like sending it in. i want to do whats right and im coming to the end of my rope, i dont want to destroy my credit but whats left?

Hi Amy,
The current situation which you are in right now, I would say to go ahead and close your checking account as soon as possible. So they cannot withdraw any funds from your bank account. Moreover get advise from an attorney from your city and state. And he will provide you the necessary steps to lead a debt free life.

hi amy well i would as you not to get very woried about this and do not consider bankruptcy over just a payday loan they are illegal most of therm atleast and the rates of interest that they charge you is horrendous close the bank account they have access to and give you debt management company the new bank account it will also be a good idea if you can have another debt settlement company settle the payday loan for you you should call the tollfree number for a free counseling and they will help you there if it doesnt work out it does not become any worse but if it does it certainly will become better.

I believe you have a store front pay day loan. If that is correct then you do not have to file for a bankruptcy for one pdl company. Now these people uses several tactics to pull money from your a/c .At this point of time you need to be firm and should be open for negotiation. You can even send them an email through a certified email stating the reason for your inability to pay them and asking them for a settlement.
This will help you further if they at all think to file a law suite against you .
