I have been struggling for the past 3 1/2 years with an old employer who was paying my medical premium as most do in Las Vegas. In December of 2001 I went into the hospital to have my son and they did not pay my premium that month. In turn I got all the medical bills dumped on me. I have been fighting with him to get him to pay the bills and now it is to the point where he will not answer my calls. I have gone through the state to get help, I have gone to an attorney and he told me to pay him 1000 and he will dispute the charges.

Hello. I was just wondering, is there a list anywhere of creditors and collection agencies, that are the quickest to cart you off to court? Like maybe the ones you should watch out for cause they don't play that? thanks, shirley

Greetings, I am currently fighting a Complaint filed against me in Kentucky. I received a Complaint via Sheriff delivery to my home. I did file an Answer and Counterclaim. However, today, I received an Answer to my counterclaim. It states that I have failed to state a cause of action upon which relief may be granted. What does this mean? I thought I made a lot of pretty relevent points. Can you please explain what they mean and what I can do to "state a claim upon which relief my be granted"? Thanks, MC

How can a credit card account that is a revolving open account not be based upon a written contract? All ofv the terms of the agreement are in the application so when one signs the application it is considered as a written contract. But can anyone be creative and tell me I'm wrong that one has signed a contract and that lawyers and courts do not separate open account from the contract one has signed so that in Florida, they look at the SOL of a signed contract rather than the SOL of an open account???
