I'm thinking about switching banks and I'm looking at US bank. Anyone use them? Can you tell how your experience has been? Thanks Reny

Our experience with US bank has been fantastic. Most tell me that they are very happy with US bank. I know my husband was able to open an account with them even though he was reported to chexsystems.

I would not suggest you go to US BANK ...They have a fee for everything...But one thing i can say positive they do have good customer service...
Look into safe credit union...ITS THE BEST!

my husband has an account with US bank and he has never had one fee charged to him for anything at all

I recently opened a savings and a checking account at us bank. in less than 2 weeks I also closed those accounts due to the banks incompetence. They failed to release a "hold" on my checking account after signing the signature card but i was told it was okay to use, I even made deposits to this account, I switched my auto insurance policy online and paid for the new policy with this new checking account . 10 days later my son was in an auto accident and i find out later that day that my policy was cancelled due to the bank not honoring the payment. ( due to someone not doing their job and the hold not being lifted ) . They were very sorry for my experience and yes I had signed the signature card and yes the money was in my bank but due to the "hold" they were unable to pay the insurance company. I am currently Looking for an attorney to sue them for all the damages I am now facing as a result of their incompetence.

Ps . Their customer service sucks. I was told by one employee to go to the branch where I signed my signature card and tell the branch manager off big time . ( might make me feel good for a few seconds but no real answer to righting the problem they created ) and on another note when I opened my savings account I went to a branch to sign the signature cared and they didn't even know what I was talking about. The Internet representative for US Bank told me the only explanation she had for that was "ignorance". She sure hit that nail on the head.
